Role & Company / Project Overview We are seeking an experienced senior mining professional for the role of Head – Technical Services to join mining projects across Africa, including operations in Mauritania, the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Burkina Faso, Sierra Leone, Guinea, and Zambia. The position supports large-scale mining operations and project development across Gold and Copper commodities. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties • Oversee technical services and operational planning across mining operations and project development. • Lead mine technical evaluations, operational planning, and strategic execution. • Coordinate with cross-functional technical teams including mine planning, exploration, and resource evaluation. • Drive technical excellence in operational execution and project ramp-up. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience • Technically strong professional with proven experience within large-scale mining operations and project development. • Expertise in technical services and operational planning. • Substantial hands-on experience in relevant commodities (Gold or Copper). • Strong leadership, strategic planning, and operational execution capabilities. • International mining experience and exposure to greenfield projects are highly valued. Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details • Location: African mining project sites (opportunities across Mauritania, DRC, Burkina Faso, Sierra Leone, Guinea, and Zambia). • Work arrangement: Onsite project operations.
