• Role & Company / Project Overview: Red Hot Technologies is seeking an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer with specialized expertise in Kubernetes and Rocket Vertica to support production cloud infrastructure, container orchestration, and big data platform operations. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: - Administer, optimize, and support AWS cloud infrastructure and cloud services. - Handle Kubernetes/EKS cluster administration, maintenance, and complex troubleshooting. - Provide hands-on administration, version upgrades, and ongoing production support for Rocket Vertica database systems. - Implement and maintain automated deployment pipelines using AWS CloudFormation and modern CI/CD tools. - Perform Linux administration and write automated automation scripts using Shell and Python. - Manage production monitoring, performance tuning, high availability (HA) setups, backup/recovery strategies, and incident troubleshooting. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: - Experience: 6–8 Years. - Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and services. - Expertise in Kubernetes/EKS administration and troubleshooting. - Hands-on experience with Rocket Vertica administration, upgrades, and production support. - Experience with AWS CloudFormation and CI/CD tools. - Strong Linux administration and Shell/Python scripting skills. - Experience in production monitoring, performance tuning, high availability (HA), backup/recovery, and incident support. - Knowledge of Python, AWS Cloud Computing, and PySpark. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: - Location: Malvern, PA. - Onsite/office-based engineering support. • Application Instructions: - Interested candidates or representatives with suitable consultants are requested to submit updated resumes.
