Role & Company / Project Overview We are hiring an experienced DevOps Engineer specializing in Enterprise Data Operations (EDO) for a contract position. This role is responsible for driving CI/CD automation, release governance, and platform operational stability across cloud data ecosystems. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties • Manage source code management and implement robust Git branching strategies • Build and orchestrate CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation frameworks • Handle production change management, release governance, risk assessment, and Change Advisory Board (CAB) alignment • Execute incident remediation, post-deployment validation, and ensure end-to-end production stabilization • Oversee release orchestration across enterprise data lakehouse and pipeline components Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience • 10+ years of professional IT/DevOps experience • Core expertise in Azure Databricks, Delta Live Tables (DLT), Unity Catalog, SQL Warehouse, and Lakehouse architectures • Strong hands-on knowledge of Azure Data Factory, Informatica, Collibra, Power BI, and Tableau • In-depth technical skills with Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD tools, release orchestration, and deployment automation • Proven track record in release governance, risk assessment, CAB participation, incident remediation, post-deployment validation, and production stabilization Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details • Location: Hybrid, Philadelphia (PHL) Area, United States • Employment Type: Contract / Contract to Hire Application Instructions • Interested candidates can apply by submitting an updated resume or connecting via direct message.
