Job description
• Role & Company / Project Overview We are hiring an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer for an exciting onsite role based in Chicago, IL. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties - Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines utilizing Harness, TeamCity, and AWS CodePipeline. - Design and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and CloudFormation. - Deploy, manage, and scale cloud workloads and containerized services on AWS, EKS, EC2, Lambda, Docker, and Kubernetes. - Oversee monitoring and APM using Dynatrace. - Lead security and vulnerability remediation initiatives utilizing Veracode, SonarQube, and Wiz. - Manage source control, repositories, and branch workflows in Git. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience - 8+ years of overall IT experience, including 4+ years running production systems on AWS. - Hands-on expertise with CI/CD: Harness, TeamCity, AWS CodePipeline. - Strong proficiency in IaC: Terraform, CloudFormation. - Extensive experience with Cloud & Containers: AWS, EKS, EC2, Lambda, Docker, Kubernetes. - Demonstrated capability in Monitoring & APM: Dynatrace. - Experience in Security & Vulnerability Remediation: Veracode, SonarQube, Wiz. - Strong expertise in Git and repository management. - Nice to have: Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Amazon Q, or Cursor. - Visa Requirement: H1B accepted. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details - Chicago, IL (Onsite). • Compensation & Benefits - Rate: Up to $52/hr C2C. • Application Instructions - Send your updated resume to the contact email provided.
