Role & Company / Project Overview: Conflux Systems is seeking an experienced Data Engineer for an on-site opportunity located in Las Vegas, Nevada to design, build, and optimize data lake infrastructure and data pipelines. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Design, develop, and maintain robust Data Lake architectures. • Write complex, optimized SQL queries for high-volume data retrieval and processing. • Build and scale data processing pipelines using Apache Spark and PySpark. • Perform Hive performance optimization and data orchestration tasks. • Manage workflow scheduling, pipeline monitoring, and data quality checks. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Mandatory Skills: - Strong expertise and hands-on programming experience in Python. - Advanced SQL skills, including the ability to write complex queries. - Proven experience in Data Lake development. - Hands-on experience with Apache Spark / PySpark and Hive optimization. - Experience with data orchestration tools (Apache Airflow preferred). • Good-to-Have Skills: - Trino / AWS Athena - Snowflake - Data Quality frameworks - Amazon S3 / Cloud file storage Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: • Location: Las Vegas, NV (Onsite) Application Instructions: • Interested candidates can share their updated resume and contact details via email.
