• Role & Company / Project Overview: NITTEC (PNG) LIMITED and NITTEC Building & Civil Works Limited are seeking an experienced, competent, and accountable Operations & Projects Manager to join our Executive Management Team in Lae, Morobe Province, Papua New Guinea. The role purpose is to plan, manage, execute, and deliver all awarded projects and work orders from mobilization through execution, testing, handover, and completion, ensuring quality, on-time, and profitable execution across telecommunications, electrical/power, solar, ICT, and building & civil works. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: - Plan and manage all awarded projects and work orders from mobilization to completion. - Coordinate project teams, site supervisors, technicians, and subcontractors. - Ensure strict compliance with HSSE (Health, Safety, Security & Environment), quality control, and company standards. - Control project costs, budgets, schedules, and resource allocation. - Manage project procurement, logistics, materials, and equipment. - Monitor operational progress, proactively resolve issues, and ensure smooth delivery. - Prepare project plans, implementation programmes, and work schedules. - Conduct regular toolbox meetings, JSA/SWMS reviews, and thorough site inspections. - Coordinate seamlessly with clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities. - Ensure stringent quality control, testing, commissioning, and HSSE compliance documentation. - Manage multiple project sites across Papua New Guinea as required. - Prepare comprehensive progress, operational, and project reports for the CEO. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: - Degree in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, or related field) or Construction/Project Management. - Minimum 10+ years of proven project management experience in engineering, telecommunications, or building & civil industries. - Strong technical leadership, problem-solving, and people management skills. - Solid knowledge of PNG standards, HSSE statutory requirements, and practical site operations. - Must be based in or residing in Lae. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: - Location: Lae, Morobe Province, Papua New Guinea (Lae-based management position; applicants must reside in Lae City). - Full-time management position. • Application Instructions: - Submit an updated CV, cover letter, and relevant qualifications/certificates quoting the exact position title in the subject line.
