• Role & Company / Project Overview Vista Management Consultants Ltd is recruiting a hands-on Production Manager on behalf of our client, a dried fruits processing factory, to lead daily factory operations and drive output, quality, and cost performance across the production floor. This role is strictly for Kenyans Only. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties - Plan and deliver daily factory production — receiving, washing, peeling, cutting, drying, sorting, packing, storage, and dispatch — meeting output targets within planned timelines. - Control section-wise targets, manpower deployment, shifts, attendance, overtime, and labour productivity across all production sections. - Manage raw material flow, yield, recovery, and waste, coordinating with QA, sourcing, and warehouse to minimise losses and shrinkage. - Lead and coordinate the factory team — supervisors, line leaders, operators, maintenance, and support functions — through daily production meetings and clear accountability. - Implement QA-approved hygiene, food safety, GMP, and quality procedures, and drive corrective action on deviations. - Coordinate equipment, utilities, cold rooms, and factory readiness with Maintenance/Engineering, including preventive maintenance and 5S standards. - Report daily factory KPIs (output, yield, labour productivity, downtime, rejects/waste, cost per kg, dispatch readiness) and drive continuous improvement. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience - Strong factory floor presence with hands-on, pressure-tested leadership. - Proven track record of daily coordination across production, QA, sourcing, and maintenance. - Demonstrated success in managing output, yield, labour productivity, downtime, cost per kg, and customer dispatch timelines. - Experience in food processing / dried fruits processing factory operations. - Eligibility: Kenyans Only. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details - Full-time factory floor leadership role in Kenya. • Compensation & Benefits - Salary: Ksh 250,000. • Application Instructions Send your CV and application to the designated contact email address quoting the subject line 'Production Manager'.
