• Role & Company / Project Overview HireCrest Consultancy is hiring a Production Manager – Steel Fabrication for an opportunity based in Kenya, East Africa. The role is positioned within the Structural Steel Fabrication industry to drive shop-floor production and operational excellence. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties - Manage end-to-end production operations, shop-floor activities, fabrication teams, and project timelines. - Oversee production planning and control (PPC) and production management workflows. - Drive production efficiency across PEB (Pre-Engineered Buildings) and hot-rolled steel structure manufacturing. - Supervise and optimize operations involving structural steel fabrication machinery and fabrication processes. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience - 7+ years of relevant experience in structural steel fabrication. - Proven experience in Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB) or Hot-Rolled Steel Structures. - Strong understanding of structural steel fabrication processes. - Hands-on knowledge of CNC machinery used in steel fabrication. - Background in Production Planning / PPC / Production Management. - Strong capability to manage production, teams, timelines, and shop-floor operations. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details - Location: Kenya, East Africa. - Industry: Structural Steel Fabrication. • Compensation & Benefits - Not specified. • Application Instructions - Eligible candidates can apply by submitting their updated CV to the recruiter.
