### Role & Company / Project Overview Brilzant is urgently looking for experienced DevOps Senior / Lead Consultants to join their growing team in South Africa on a contract basis. ### Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties - DevOps engineering and cloud infrastructure management. - CI/CD pipeline design and implementation. - Containerization, orchestration, and cluster management. - Cloud infrastructure automation, provisioning, and configuration management. - Configuration and release management across environments. - Monitoring, logging, and performance optimization. - Implementing security and DevSecOps practices, secrets management, and identity management. - Managing networking and cloud connectivity. - Formulating CI/CD automation and deployment strategies. - Designing and maintaining disaster recovery and high availability architectures. - Driving DevOps best practices, automation, and technical leadership in Agile / Scrum delivery environments. - End-to-end DevOps implementations, cloud migrations, pipeline development, deployment automation, and complex troubleshooting. ### Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience - Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience. - Cloud Platforms: Azure / AWS Cloud Platforms. - CI/CD & Build Tools: Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins. - Version Control: Git, GitHub, GitLab. - Containers & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), AWS EKS. - Infrastructure as Code & Configuration: Terraform, ARM Templates, Bicep. - Scripting & OS Administration: PowerShell, Bash scripting, Linux and Windows administration. - Monitoring & Observability: Azure Monitor, Application Insights. - DevSecOps: Security practices, secrets, and identity management. - Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills. - Eligibility: South African Citizens Only. - Availability: Candidates available to join immediately or on short notice are preferred. ### Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details - Location: Johannesburg, South Africa. - Work Mode: Hybrid / Remote. - Employment Type: Contract. ### Application Instructions - Submit updated CV with the subject line 'DevOps Senior / Lead Consultant – South Africa'.
