Job description

• Role & Company / Project Overview: We are seeking a skilled AS400 Developer (Mid - Middle/Senior Level) to handle system enhancements and lead the end-to-end development of new modules on the IBM i platform. This is an onsite placement in Jakarta within the Financial Services / Banking industry on a 6–12 months contract with high opportunity for renewal. Immediate joiners or candidates with a short notice period are highly preferred. Indonesian Citizens Only. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: - Build, update, and optimize core applications on the AS400 / IBM i environment. - Write robust code using RPGLE and manage database operations using DB2. - Translate functional specifications into efficient technical solutions. - Conduct unit testing, system debugging, and active issue resolution. - Provide ongoing support for application maintenance and operational system fixes. - Partner with cross-functional technical teams to drive project deliverables on schedule. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: - Proven track record in AS400 / IBM i application development. - Must-have: Advanced proficiency in RPGLE and strong DB2 database management skills. - Hands-on experience in module creation, routine upgrades, and bug fixing. - Strong logical thinking, analytical capability, and debugging skills. - Solid team player with good communication skills. - Eligibility: Indonesian Citizens Only. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: - Location: Jakarta (Onsite) - Contract Duration: 6–12 Months (High opportunity for renewal) - Availability: Immediate joiners / short notice period highly preferred • Application Instructions: Submit your updated CV via email or apply through the designated application link.
