Job description

Role & Company / Project Overview: We are hiring an experienced AS400 Support Analyst/Developer to handle production support, maintenance, debugging, and application modernization initiatives. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: - Provide production support and technical support for core AS400 / IBM i applications. - Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning. - Work with physical and logical files, data areas, and data queues. - Develop and maintain programs using RPG IV, RPGLE, Free-format RPG, and CL programming. - Handle DB2 for i database operations using SQLRPGLE and embedded SQL. - Utilize development tools including RDi, PDM, SEU, and DDS. - Support application modernization initiatives, including integration with REST APIs and Web Services. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: - Experience: 9+ years of relevant experience. - In-depth technical skills in AS400 / IBM i / iSeries. - Proficiency in RPG IV, RPGLE, and Free-format RPG. - Expertise in CL Programming. - Strong experience with DB2 for i, SQLRPGLE, and Embedded SQL. - Hands-on experience with RDi, PDM, SEU, and DDS. - Proven expertise in Production Support, Debugging, and Performance Tuning. - Comprehensive knowledge of Physical/Logical Files, Data Areas, and Data Queues. - Hands-on experience with REST APIs, Web Services, and Application Modernization.
