Role & Company / Project Overview: Texplorers Inc is hiring for its growing Data & Delivery Team. We are looking for an Azure Databricks Engineer / Support Engineer (Data Engineer and Senior Data Engineer) with around 4 to 7 years of experience in cloud-based data engineering, data migration projects, and production support environments. Texplorers Inc is a technology consulting firm specializing in cloud data engineering, advanced analytics, and AI-driven solutions, partnering with Fortune 500 and high-growth enterprises to architect, build, and scale modern data platforms. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Support and monitor enterprise Azure Databricks environments, data pipelines, and Spark-based workloads. • Troubleshoot Databricks notebooks, clusters, workflows, and scheduled jobs. • Optimize Spark jobs, SQL queries, and Delta Lake performance. • Perform production support activities, root cause analysis (RCA), and incident resolution while ensuring strict SLA adherence during EST support hours. • Ensure stable, reliable data platform operations. • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and team members on delivery. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Experience Required: 4–7 years of total experience in Data Engineering / Production Support and data engineering/migration projects. • Mandatory Domain Experience: Retail domain experience is required. • Hands-on expertise with Azure Databricks, Spark Notebooks (PySpark / SQL), and Delta Lake concepts. • Hands-on experience with Azure Synapse Analytics and ADLS Gen2. • Strong SQL troubleshooting, database, and performance optimization skills. • Experience with ETL/ELT pipeline architectures and Git-based version control. • Professional experience with Jira, Confluence, and MS Office. • Strong stakeholder management, leadership, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. • Nice to Have Skills: Azure Synapse Pipelines or Azure Data Factory (ADF), Power BI exposure/knowledge, and monitoring and logging tools in Azure environments. Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: • Location: Hyderabad, Telangana (TG), India. • Work Mode: Hybrid. • Support Hours: EST support hours. • Interview Process: 2 Virtual rounds and 1 In-Person round.
