Role & Company / Project Overview: Texplorers Inc is hiring a Cloud Platform Engineer in Hyderabad, Telangana. Texplorers Inc is a fast-growing technology consulting firm specializing in cloud data engineering, advanced analytics, and AI-driven solutions. The firm partners with Fortune 500 and high-growth enterprises to architect, build, and scale modern data platforms with a culture emphasizing innovation, ownership, and continuous learning. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Operate and support Azure-based cloud data platforms, ensuring high availability and reliability. • Administer Azure SQL, SQL Server, Azure Synapse, Databricks, and Azure Storage services. • Monitor platform health, troubleshoot incidents, and perform root cause analysis. • Optimize database, pipeline, and platform performance. • Manage user access, security, and governance using Microsoft Entra ID and Azure RBAC. • Support Power BI, APIs, and enterprise data integrations. • Perform production deployments, environment provisioning, data migrations, and disaster recovery activities. • Develop automation solutions to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort. • Maintain CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code for platform deployments. • Create and maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and standard operating procedures. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • 5+ years of experience in operating and supporting Azure-based cloud data platforms. • Technical Skills: Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, Azure SQL, SQL Server, Azure Data Lake Storage, Power BI, and API integrations. • Experience in cloud platform and database administration, performance tuning, monitoring, backup & disaster recovery, incident management, and security & governance (Microsoft Entra ID, Azure RBAC, Managed Identities, Service Principals). • Basic DevOps practices including Azure DevOps, GitHub, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/ARM), PowerShell, Azure CLI, T-SQL, and automation scripting. • Availability: Immediate joiners preferred.
