Role & Company / Project Overview Space Consultant is hiring for the position of Senior Resident in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology (OBG / Gynae) for a reputed Medical College located in Gangtok, Sikkim. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties • Manage clinical inpatient, outpatient, and emergency obstetric and gynaecological cases. • Conduct labor room management, normal deliveries, caesarean sections, and assist in operative gynaecological procedures. • Participate actively in the academic training, clinical tutorials, and bedside teaching of undergraduate medical students (MBBS). • Attend emergency on-call rotas, night duties, and intensive patient monitoring in post-operative care units. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience • MS / DNB in Obstetrics & Gynaecology (OBG) from a recognized medical institution. • Must have valid degree and state/national medical council registration. • Eligibility note: DGO candidates are NOT eligible as per National Medical Commission (NMC) norms for Medical Colleges. • Open to candidates from ANY STATE across India. • Availability: Immediate joiners preferred. Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details • Location: Medical College, Gangtok, Sikkim, India. • Shift & Duty Schedule: Full-time hospital and academic medical college shifts, including rotational emergency calls. Compensation & Benefits • Salary: Rs. 1,00,000 to Rs. 1,40,000 per month (1 - 1.4 Lacs/month). • Academic career experience within an NMC-recognized medical college.
