### Role & Company / Project Overview ALVASAR OÜ / Svarga Work is recruiting CNC Lathe and Turning Machine Operators and Setters for permanent and long-term production positions in various Finnish manufacturing facilities located across Tampere, Maalahti, Karviankylä, Imatra, Keuruu, and Muurame. ### Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties • Setting up and operating CNC lathe/turning machinery. • Installing tooling, fixtures, and raw workpieces. • Reading technical blueprints and verifying parts using precision measuring instruments. • Continuous quality control and dimensional checks on finished components. • Independent setup and machine parameter adjustments. ### Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience • Hands-on working experience operating and setting CNC lathe machinery. • Capability to read and interpret engineering drawings. • Experience with Fanuc, Heidenhain, Mazak, or related CNC control systems (5+ years of Fanuc turning experience required for specific specialized roles). • Basic English comprehension; spoken Russian, Finnish, or English is required for certain positions. • Additional valuable assets: 4-axis/5-axis turning operations, machining of large components, rollers, shafts, and hydraulic cylinders, as well as CAM programming. ### Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details • Locations: Tampere, Maalahti, Karviankylä, Imatra, Keuruu, Muurame (Finland). • Working hours: Typically 2-shift or 3-shift schedules; paid overtime possibilities available. ### Compensation & Benefits • Pay rate: From €16 per hour depending on qualifications, skills, and hours. • Free accommodation provided on the majority of projects. • Work clothing and tooling supplied. • Document preparation assistance for Finnish work visas available through the company. ### Application Instructions Send your CV indicating machine models and CNC systems handled, specific competencies, language proficiency, current residence, and available start date.
