Job description

Role & Company / Project Overview: We are looking for an experienced AWS Data Platform Engineer with strong hands-on experience designing and developing cloud-based data platforms and data pipelines on AWS. This role is a 12 Months plus contract opportunity based in Englewood, CO. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Design and develop robust, scalable, and reliable cloud-based data platforms and data architectures on AWS • Build, deploy, and maintain end-to-end ETL/ELT data pipelines • Implement large-scale data processing workflows using Apache Spark / PySpark • Perform data modeling and data warehousing across enterprise datasets • Conduct troubleshooting, debugging, and continuous performance optimization on data platforms Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Strong hands-on AWS experience • Proficiency in AWS core data services: AWS S3, Glue, Redshift, EMR, and Lambda • Strong programming and querying skills in Python and SQL • Proven experience in ETL/ELT and Data Pipeline development • Solid expertise with Apache Spark / PySpark • Expertise in data modeling and data warehousing • Deep understanding of AWS cloud data platform architecture • Demonstrated experience building scalable and reliable data solutions • Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills • Local residency in the Englewood/Denver, CO area Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: • Location: Englewood, CO 80111 • Work Arrangement: Hybrid (available for hybrid/onsite work; local candidates only) • Contract Duration: 12 Months plus Application Instructions: • Send your resume directly via email to the hiring team.
