• Role & Company / Project Overview Protec Technical is recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading VIP and commercial helicopter maintenance provider and Part-145 maintenance base located in Elstree, UK. This is a permanent opportunity for a Junior Technician, Junior Mechanic, or operator looking to build and develop a long-term career within a safety-focused Part-145 helicopter maintenance environment. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties - Support scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities on helicopters. - Perform aircraft inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs. - Execute removal and installation of aircraft systems and components. - Complete all required maintenance documentation accurately. - Support AOG (Aircraft on Ground) recovery activities when required. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience - A genuine passion for helicopter maintenance and long-term career development. - Exposure to Leonardo helicopters (AW109, AW139, AW169, AW189) is desirable. - Prior Part-145 experience and/or UK CAA / EASA Part-66 license is advantageous but not essential. - Suitable for junior-level engineers, junior technicians, or operators seeking professional growth. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details - Working Schedule: Monday to Friday schedule. - Location: Elstree, Hertfordshire, East of England, United Kingdom. - Work Arrangement: On-site. • Compensation & Benefits - Competitive salary. - Excellent pension scheme. - Training and development towards licensing and type ratings. - Opportunity to work on modern Leonardo helicopter platforms. - Long-term career progression within a professional, safety-focused organization. • Application Instructions - Express interest and submit your application to the recruitment team to learn more about this permanent opportunity.
