• Role & Company / Project Overview Ultimate Outsourcing is hiring an experienced Marine Engineer on behalf of a client. The role involves working on small leisure boats and customer vessels in marinas rather than large ships. This is an excellent permanent opportunity for a practical, technically minded engineer who enjoys troubleshooting, working directly with customers, and keeping leisure vessels running smoothly. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties - Installing, servicing, and repairing inboard and outboard engines. - Working on engine systems and steering controls. - Carrying out engine overhauls, computer-based diagnostics, and fault finding. - Working with exhaust systems, stern gear, and vessel plumbing. - Providing practical marine engineering solutions to customers. - Handling document control and technical report writing. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience - Marine engineering qualifications or relevant OEM training. - A full UK driving licence. - Hands-on practical experience working with leisure boats or small marine vessels. - Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details - Location: Southern Hampshire, United Kingdom. - Contract: Permanent. • Compensation & Benefits - Salary: £35,000–£40,000 per annum + overtime paid at time and a half. • Application Instructions - Apply by submitting CV via email or calling the recruitment team.
