### Role & Company / Project Overview American IT Systems, an IT staffing firm specializing in sourcing top talent for diverse industries, is currently seeking a skilled Java Microservices Developer to fulfill the requirements of a premium client in Egypt. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, high-performance applications with expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices architecture, REST APIs, and cloud-native application development. ### Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties • Design, develop, and implement Microservices-based applications using Java and Spring Boot. • Build and consume RESTful APIs and web services. • Develop scalable, secure, and resilient distributed systems. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Business Analysts, QA, DevOps, and Product Owners. • Implement containerization using Docker and deployment using Kubernetes/OpenShift. • Work with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. • Develop and optimize database queries and data models. • Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards. • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues. • Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices. ### Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience • Experience: 3-8 Years • Strong experience in Java 8/11/17+ • Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA • Microservices Architecture • RESTful APIs, JSON, Swagger/OpenAPI • Hibernate/JPA • Kafka/RabbitMQ/Event-Driven Architecture • SQL Databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL) • NoSQL Databases (MongoDB, Cassandra) • Docker and Kubernetes • Git, Maven, Gradle • CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps) • Unit Testing (JUnit, Mockito) • Cloud & DevOps: AWS/Azure/GCP • Monitoring tools: Splunk, ELK, Prometheus, Grafana • Infrastructure as Code (Terraform is a plus) Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with Spring Cloud components (Eureka, Config Server, Gateway) • Knowledge of Design Patterns and SOLID principles • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies • Exposure to Security frameworks such as OAuth2, JWT, and Spring Security • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field Nice to Have: • Reactive Programming (WebFlux) • Serverless Architecture • Kubernetes/OpenShift administration • Certification in Java, AWS, or Azure ### Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details • Location: Egypt ### Compensation & Benefits • Not specified ### Application Instructions Please submit your updated resume for further consideration.
