### Role & Company / Project Overview Infosys is hiring a Java Spring Boot Microservices Developer for a full-time, permanent role within IT Services & Consulting / Software Development & Engineering. The role involves building scalable solutions, working on cutting-edge technologies, and developing enterprise-grade cloud-native applications. ### Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java and Spring Boot. • Build scalable microservices-based applications and architectures following industry best practices. • Develop and consume RESTful web services/APIs and integrate with third-party systems. • Implement secure, reliable, and reusable services with proper logging and exception handling. • Participate in code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and deployment pipelines. • Optimize application performance, scalability, and availability. • Work within Agile/Scrum cross-functional teams and contribute actively to sprint planning. • Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions. ### Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience • Educational Qualification: BCA, B.Sc, B.E. / B.Tech, MCA, M.Sc, or M.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. • Experience: 3 to 8 years of hands-on experience in Java development and enterprise application engineering. • Core Technical Skills: Core Java (Java 8/11/17), Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, and Spring Security. • Architecture & APIs: Microservices architecture, RESTful web services, and API development. • ORM & Databases: Hibernate, JPA, and ORM frameworks; SQL databases including Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server. • Build & Version Tools: Git, Maven, and Gradle. • Software Engineering Practices: Design patterns, OOP concepts, SOLID principles, and unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito). • Preferred Skills: Spring Cloud, Eureka, Config Server, Feign Client, API Gateway, Kafka, RabbitMQ (messaging systems), Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). • Additional / Nice to Have: ELK Stack, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana; domain experience in Banking, Financial Services, E-commerce, Healthcare, or Telecom; certifications in Java, Spring, or Cloud technologies. ### Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details • Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent. • Location: Bangalore / Bengaluru, Karnataka, India (also open to Hyderabad / specified regional IT hubs). ### Application Instructions • Interested candidates with 3–8 years of experience should submit their profile/application via the official listing.
