Job description

Role & Company / Project Overview: We are seeking an experienced Process Engineer to support manufacturing operations at a building materials facility specializing in PVC fitting covers and jacketing for pipe insulation. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, productivity, and product quality. • Troubleshoot equipment and production issues to ensure process stability. • Lead continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives. • Analyze process data and implement solutions to reduce material and energy consumption. • Collaborate with vendors and cross-functional teams on technical improvements. • Lead projects, manage priorities, and ensure production targets are achieved. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. • Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial continuous-process manufacturing. • Proven experience in process optimization and manufacturing improvement projects. • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. • Experience with Design of Experiments (DOE) and complex data analysis. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. • Work Authorization: USC/GC (U.S. Citizen / Green Card). • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in plastics manufacturing and/or extrusion processes; familiarity with SAP; Six Sigma Green Belt certification; strong project management and leadership skills.
