Role & Company / Project Overview We are looking for an experienced Process Validation Engineer / Injection Molding Process Engineer to support medical device manufacturing and injection molding process development in Minneapolis, MN. This is a 1-year contract/project opportunity with video interviews. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties • Develop, optimize, and qualify injection molding processes. • Independently set up, operate, and troubleshoot large horizontal injection molding presses. • Apply Scientific Molding and Decoupled III processing techniques. • Utilize RJG eDART or similar process monitoring systems. • Execute OQ/PQ activities, analyze results, and prepare comprehensive qualification reports. • Coordinate with Operations to manage machine time, project schedules, and deliverables. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience • Work Authorization: U.S. Citizens or Green Card (GC) holders. • Recent hands-on injection molding process development experience within the past 3 years. • Strong background and experience in injection molding process optimization and troubleshooting. • Proven experience working with Decoupled III and RJG eDART or similar process monitoring systems. • Medical device industry experience with OQ/PQ process qualifications. • Experience operating Sodick or Sumitomo injection molding presses is preferred. • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
