Job description

Role & Company / Project Overview: HItA Solutions is seeking an experienced Senior Facade Designer in Dubai, UAE for a full-time position. The role focuses on taking design intent and turning it into accurate, buildable drawings for fabrication and installation, as well as providing technical guidance to junior team members. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Guide and mentor junior designers across technical drafting and facade details • Prepare shop, fabrication, and installation drawings for facade systems including curtain wall, glazing, cladding, and aluminium works • Prepare material take-offs and Bills of Materials (BOM) for procurement and production teams • Revise drawings based on consultant and client feedback/comments, ensuring resubmission within established schedules • Maintain an up-to-date drawing register and actively track submission and approval status • Coordinate closely with engineering, production, and site teams to ensure shop drawings accurately reflect what gets built Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • 7+ years of facade drafting/design experience, with proven capability to guide junior designers • Diploma or degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline • Strong command of AutoCAD (essential requirement) • Revit / BIM knowledge is a strong advantage • In-depth understanding of facade systems, aluminium profiles, and glazing detailing • GCC / UAE project experience is preferred Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: • Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates • Employment Type: Full-time onsite Application Instructions: • Submit your CV and a portfolio of drawings via email with the subject line 'Facade Designer'.
