• Role & Company / Project Overview Solomon Carter is hiring an experienced Sr. DBA with strong expertise in MS SQL Server and Database Migration. The role covers Sr. DBA responsibilities, database migration, maintenance, monitoring, and support. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties - End-to-end database migration activities. - Pre-migration assessment and planning. - Data migration, testing, and validation. - Performance tuning and optimization. - Backup, recovery, High Availability (HA), and Disaster Recovery (DR). - Migration cutover and production support. - Ensuring data integrity and minimal downtime. - Database monitoring and troubleshooting. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience - 4 to 6 years of experience. - Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. - Strong expertise in MS SQL Server / MSSQL DBA. - Database Migration expertise: MS SQL to MySQL / PostgreSQL. - Proficient in SQL Queries & Stored Procedures. - Query Optimization & Performance Tuning. - Backup & Recovery. - Database Monitoring & Troubleshooting. - Cloud platforms: AWS / Azure. - Migration tools: AWS DMS / Azure Database Migration Service. - Replication Technologies. - Scripting: Python / PowerShell / Bash. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details - Location: Delhi, India. • Compensation & Benefits - Not specified. • Application Instructions - Interested candidates can share their CV with the specified recruiting contact.
