Role & Company / Project Overview: Xove Consulting is hiring an experienced Senior Android Automation Engineer with 10+ years of professional experience to work on high-impact projects with Southwest Airlines. Strong hands-on experience in Android automation and framework ownership is a major plus. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Develop, optimize, and maintain mobile automation frameworks • Integrate automated UI and functional test suites into CI/CD pipelines • Perform in-depth inspection and debugging of native mobile application codebases • Collaborate cross-functionally with iOS teams and core Android development teams • Support cross-platform testing efforts and uphold mobile app quality standards Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • 10+ years of hands-on software development and mobile automation experience • Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java for Android development • Hands-on expertise with Android SDK and Espresso for UI automation • Solid background in building and maintaining test automation frameworks • Familiarity with Xcode for iOS support and cross-platform alignment • Experience with Python scripting for CI/CD automation • Practical experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines • Fastlane experience is optional but preferred • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving abilities • Nice to have: JIRA and Atlassian tool suites • Nice to have: AWS Device Farm for mobile cloud device testing • Nice to have: Accessibility standards experience and awareness Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: • Location: Dallas, Texas (preferred) / Remote options available • Work arrangement: Onsite / Remote / Hybrid depending on the position • Target start date: Before the end of October Compensation & Benefits: • Competitive compensation offered • Professional career growth within long-term projects Application Instructions: • Interested professionals are invited to forward their updated resume indicating the role title in the subject line.
