Role & Company / Project Overview: Synkriom is hiring an experienced Senior Field Engineer / Technical Lead for a 6-month contract engagement. The role centers on driving technical execution, infrastructure integration, and system-level qualification across complex Linux, hardware, networking, and storage environments. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Lead system infrastructure engineering, integration, and qualification activities. • Investigate and resolve hardware, Linux, networking, and storage-related issues. • Drive technical escalations, defect analysis, and detailed root cause investigations (RCA). • Develop reusable diagnostic and automated remediation solutions. • Prepare comprehensive technical reports, RCA documentation, and knowledge-transfer materials. • Lead technical investigations into complex infrastructure failures. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • 10+ years of professional experience in infrastructure and systems engineering. • Strong expertise in Linux administration and deep system-level troubleshooting. • Proven hands-on experience with hardware diagnostics, system qualification, and infrastructure integration. • Strong networking and storage infrastructure knowledge. • Demonstrated expertise in handling technical escalations, root cause analysis (RCA), and implementing corrective actions. • Experience with diagnostic automation, remediation workflows, and technical documentation. • Proven leadership in conducting technical investigations and resolving critical infrastructure issues. Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: • Location: Colorado / Remote (Work from Home eligible). • Engagement Duration: 6 Months.
