Role & Company / Project Overview: Hiring an E&M Inpatient (IP) Coder / QA professional in Chennai to handle complex inpatient physician encounter documentation. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Review inpatient physician documentation, subsequent hospital visits, discharge summaries, and consults. • Assign correct E&M levels based on established MDM and clinical complexity guidelines. • Perform quality assurance audits on inpatient coded claims to ensure clinical validity and compliance. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • 1+ year of proven experience in Inpatient E&M coding and QA. • Thorough knowledge of inpatient hospital coding protocols, ICD-10, and CPT codes. • Proven track record of high coding accuracy and quality benchmarks. Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: • Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India (Onsite). • Work schedule: Standard full-time schedule.
