### Role & Company / Project Overview We are hiring a Public Sector Recruitment Consultant to work across Surveying, Planning, Housing, Engineering, and Property sectors. In this role, you will be expected to actively hunt for business, build a high-performing desk, and turn conversations into qualified leads. Rather than simply reacting to job vacancies, you will map markets, develop professional networks, and convert market intelligence into concrete commercial opportunities. ### Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties • Hunt for new business opportunities and build a dedicated recruitment desk from the ground up. • Work actively across multiple specialist public sectors: Surveying, Planning, Housing, Engineering, and Property. • Map target markets, establish industry networks, and transform market intel into recruitment opportunities. • Proactively engage candidates and clients, turning initial conversations into actionable leads. ### Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience • Proven experience in recruitment or executive search (current recruitment agency or consultancy background preferred). • Demonstrated track record in business development, market mapping, and network building. • Strong commercial acumen, proactive hunting mindset, and excellent relationship-building abilities. ### Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details • Position Type: Hybrid role based in Cape Town (Southern Suburbs), South Africa. ### Compensation & Benefits • Competitive remuneration package corresponding to experience. ### Application Instructions • Please submit your CV for consideration as directed.
