Role & Company / Project Overview: We are hiring a Manager – Design (Solar PV - DC/AC) in the Renewable Green Energy Department. The position reports to the Head – Engineering (Solar) / Head – Renewable Energy, based at the Head Office in Bhopal. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Responsible for the complete design and engineering of large-scale utility-scale solar PV projects. • Prepare detailed designs, single line diagrams (SLDs), general arrangement drawings, cable sizing, equipment foundation designs & drawings, and layouts. • Prepare complete Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for utility-scale solar projects. • Optimize system design and BOQ for maximum cost-effectiveness and engineering efficiency. • Conduct comprehensive load flow analysis, short circuit studies, and protection coordination. • Coordinate actively with EPC, procurement, and project execution teams to deliver design inputs and technical support. • Evaluate and approve engineering designs submitted by vendors, consultants, and contractors. • Support tendering and bid preparation processes with technical design inputs. • Review and finalize technical specifications, datasheets, and BOQs. • Interface with statutory bodies (STS/CTU/STU) for statutory design approvals, clearances, and grid connectivity compliance. • Ensure full compliance with relevant codes, engineering standards, and grid regulations. • Provide techno-commercial and site support: interface with OEMs (modules, inverters, MMS), provide design clarifications during construction and commissioning, and support testing, commissioning, and performance validation. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Educational Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering. • Total Experience: 10 years of overall engineering experience. • Relevant Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Solar PV project design. • Experience in utility-scale solar projects (≥50 MWac) is strongly preferred. • Mandatory Tools & Skills: PVsyst / Helios, AutoCAD. • Preferred Tools: ETAP, SKM, Advanced MS Excel. • Strong understanding of end-to-end solar EPC execution.
