• Role & Company / Project Overview: ecoGenie biotech is hiring Interns for a 1-year internship duration in Bengaluru. ecoGenie biotech is an innovation-driven biotechnology startup developing sustainable solutions in agriculture, nanobiotechnology, and post-harvest management by transforming agricultural, animal, and insect waste into high-value bioproducts, proteins, peptides, lipids, and plant biostimulants, promoting a circular bioeconomy. The company has been recognized with the Karnataka ELEVATE Award 2024, DWIH-DAAD Innovators Connect Tandem 2025, and RKVY-RAFTAAR Grant 2026. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: - Work on Biotechnology & Product R&D focusing on protein & biopolymer extraction techniques and enzymatic hydrolysis. - Conduct analytical testing, proximate analysis, and laboratory characterization. - Follow research and lab standards, including standard laboratory SOPs and safety compliance. - Perform literature reviews and research synthesis. - Actively learn, build, and reiterate throughout the R&D process. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: - Candidates pursuing or possessing M.Tech / M.Sc. in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Food Technology, Animal Sciences, Agriculture, or Life Sciences. - Strong understanding of biotechnology & product R&D. - Knowledge of protein & biopolymer extraction techniques, enzymatic hydrolysis, and proximate analysis. - Familiarity with standard laboratory SOPs, safety compliance protocols, literature review, and research synthesis. - Motivated and enthusiastic to work on sustainable bioproducts and circular bioeconomy. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: - Duration: 1-Year Internship. - Work Model & Location: Onsite at ecoGenie biotech, CCAMP Extension lab, GKVK, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560065, India. • Compensation & Benefits: - Not specified. • Application Instructions: - Interested candidates should submit their updated CV directly to the designated recruitment contact email address.
