Job description
• Role & Company / Project Overview: Mastercom is hiring an experienced NOC Engineer / Senior Systems & Operations Engineer for a full-time position. The ideal candidate will have 8 to 12 years of experience with deep expertise in OSS, network management, incident management, and application monitoring. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: - Hands-on experience in OSS/Network Management, Fault Management, Event Correlation, Alarm Management, Network Inventory, and Service Provisioning. - Lead P1/P2 major incident bridges and perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA). - Prepare SOPs/MOPs for L1 operations and manage OEM vendor escalations. - Troubleshoot issues across HPE OSS and OpenText ITOM/APM platforms. - Monitor application health and handle incidents in a 24×7 environment. - Work with RHEL/Linux, SNMP, Syslog, TCP/IP, DNS, Oracle/SQL, REST APIs, and log analysis. - Coordinate vendor tickets and validate patches/hotfixes. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: - Education: Diploma / B.Tech. - Experience: 8–12 Years. - Preferred HPE Stack Skills: vTeMIP, FAS, UCA, UOC, ESP, TrueView, UTM. - Preferred OpenText Stack Skills: SMAX, OBM, ODL, NNMi, NA, OO, APM, RUM, BPM, UD, CMDB. - Alternative Platform Experience: IBM Tivoli/Netcool, Netcracker, Nokia FlowOne, Oracle COSM/UIM, Amdocs, Dynatrace, SolarWinds, BMC Helix, Splunk, ServiceNow, or ManageEngine. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: - Location: Bangalore, Karnataka, India. - Shift: 24×7 operational environment. - Employment Type: Full-Time. • Application Instructions: Interested candidates can reach out directly via the provided recruiter contact details.
