Job description

Role & Company / Project Overview: A Senior RAN Operations Engineer (LTE/5G) is required within the Telecom / Networking domain to oversee and maintain radio access network stability and incident management across Pan India. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Lead advanced troubleshooting and technical restoration of high-impact RAN incidents. • Review and direct recovery, failover, upgrade, and configuration activities under approved operational procedures. • Coordinate closely with OEMs, cloud providers, field engineering teams, and client Tier-3 engineering teams. • Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and after-action reviews, tracking corrective actions through to final closure. • Review runbooks, MOPs (Methods of Procedure), and escalation standards, and provide mentorship to L1/L2 engineers. • Identify recurring operational risks and recommend proactive preventive improvements. • Strictly adhere to incident, problem, change, and escalation management processes. • Maintain operational documentation and facilitate seamless collaboration with engineering, field, and vendor teams. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • 7 to 10 years of hands-on experience in Telecom / Networking domain focusing on LTE and 5G RAN operations. • Expert-level RAN troubleshooting skills. • Demonstrated technical leadership in handling major network incidents. • Proven experience in change and recovery governance. • Expertise in RCA (Root Cause Analysis) and problem management. • Strong capability in mentoring junior engineers and managing stakeholder coordination. Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: • Location: Pan India. • Work Mode: Hybrid. • Shift Timings: 3 Rotational Shifts.
