Job description
Role & Company / Project Overview: EMTensor GmbH is bringing an innovative medical device into existence: a portable brain scanner that detects stroke in minutes using microwave tomography. With the device working and the physics proven, the next step is taking it from a working system to a certified, manufacturable product in clinical use. This is a rare chance to help put a new category of medical device into the world and have real influence on how the product and the company take shape. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Closing out a still-evolving design: DfM/DfT, under design control • Choosing and shaping EMS and supplier partners • Building the supply chain from the ground up • Overseeing assembly quality, V&V, and the builds for clinical trials • Serving as the critical link between R&D teams in Vienna and Bangalore and the shop floor • Driving product and company industrialization strategy Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Proven track record of personally taking an electronic product from prototype to series • Deep expertise where ISO 13485, IEC 60601, ISO 14971, and MDR are second nature (work must be audit-ready by default, even without directly running the QMS) • Thorough insider knowledge of PCBA, IPC, EMC, and test methodologies • Demonstrated ability to get the best out of contract manufacturers rather than just placing orders • Beneficial experience / plus points: RF/analog, clinical builds, and Notified Body interaction Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: • Location: Austria (collaborating with R&D teams located in Vienna and Bangalore) Application Instructions: • Submit CV along with a detailed write-up of your most relevant experience specifying: - Which product you took from prototype to series and your exact role - The hardest problems faced along the way - How you solved them and the ultimate results achieved
