• Role & Company / Project Overview OneSource Consulting is hiring an experienced Senior Network Engineer to join the IT team of a leading logistics service provider in Antwerp, Belgium. This position operates under a hybrid full-time contract model. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties - Manage and optimize enterprise network infrastructure covering switching, routing, firewalls, WiFi, VPN, and site connectivity. - Monitor network performance, investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement sustainable solutions. - Manage network changes, configurations, standards, documentation, and security controls. - Lead network projects from planning and preparation through implementation and delivery. - Support network innovations, infrastructure expansions, migrations, and technology upgrades. - Coach and mentor junior network engineers through regular knowledge sharing and technical guidance. - Participate in scheduled maintenance, upgrades, and operational interventions outside standard office hours when required. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience - Extensive professional experience in Network Engineering and network operations. - Mandatory expertise in Cisco Networking, Switching & Routing, Network Security & Firewalling, WiFi & VPN Infrastructure, and Network Operations Management. - Advantageous skills: Palo Alto Firewalls, NIS2 / ISO 27001 compliance standards. - Experience in Network Segmentation & Hardening, Access Management, Network Monitoring & Troubleshooting, and Infrastructure Documentation & Configuration Standards. - Structured and methodical approach to troubleshooting and incident resolution. - Ability to remain calm under pressure and analyze network issues systematically. - Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical topics into business impact for both technical teams and senior management. - Experience in warehouse, transport, or logistics environments is a plus. - Strong commitment to knowledge sharing and mentoring junior colleagues. - Languages: Proficiency in Dutch and English. - Driving Licence: Category B licence required. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details - Location: Antwerp, Belgium. - Work Mode: Hybrid. - Work Regime: Full-time. - Contract Duration: ASAP – 6 Months. - Participation in scheduled maintenance and interventions outside standard office hours when necessary. • Compensation & Benefits - Contract engagement for a 6-month term with target project start date around October 2026. • Application Instructions - Submit your CV directly for consideration.
