### Role & Company / Project Overview Shaerp is seeking a motivated Junior / Medior Network Engineer for an exciting freelance / self-employed (ZZP) assignment in the Netherlands. In this role, you will work with complex network environments, solve technical challenges, and ensure critical IT infrastructure runs smoothly in collaboration with experienced infrastructure and network professionals. ### Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties • Managing, maintaining, and optimizing network infrastructure. • Troubleshooting network incidents and resolving connectivity issues. • Supporting network changes, implementations, and improvements. • Working with routing, switching, and network security technologies. • Monitoring network performance, stability, and availability. • Collaborating with infrastructure and IT teams to ensure reliable network operations. • Maintaining technical documentation and supporting continuous improvements. ### Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience • Approximately 3–6 years of relevant Network Engineering experience. • Hands-on knowledge of routing, switching, and TCP/IP networking. • Experience troubleshooting and managing enterprise network environments. • Understanding of VLANs, VPNs, firewalls, and network security principles. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • A proactive, independent, and hands-on mindset. • Fluent Dutch communication skills (mandatory requirement). • Willingness to travel to different locations across the Netherlands. ### Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details • Location: Multiple locations across the Netherlands (travel flexibility required). • Working Model: Hybrid, 1–2 days on-site per week. • Contract Type: Freelance / Self-employed (ZZP). • Start Date: ASAP. ### Compensation & Benefits • Challenging freelance assignment within a professional IT environment. • Opportunity to work with complex network infrastructure. • Flexibility offered by a hybrid working setup. ### Application Instructions • Interested candidates or referrals can reach out directly via message or share their CV via email or phone.
