### Role & Company / Project Overview Nangia & Co LLP is inviting applications from qualified and experienced professionals for the position of Project Manager cum NGT Subject Matter Expert under the Clean Himalayan and Hill Cities Initiative (CHHCI), a component of Swachh Bharat Mission – Urban 2.0 (SBM-U 2.0), Government of Tripura. The position involves full-time deployment in Tripura contributing towards sustainable waste management, improved urban infrastructure, sanitation, and cleaner hill cities. ### Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties - Serve as the project lead and Subject Matter Expert on NGT (National Green Tribunal) and environmental compliance matters. - Lead the project management unit (PMU) and project team in executing initiatives under SBM-U 2.0 and CHHCI across Tripura. - Oversee program planning, execution, monitoring, and stakeholder coordination with municipal bodies and state government departments. - Ensure project deliverables align with statutory environmental regulations, NGT directives, and Swachh Bharat Mission benchmarks. ### Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience - Postgraduate degree in Environmental Science/Engineering, Civil Engineering, Planning, Architecture, Public Policy/Administration, Law, Management, Social Work, or Mass Communication; OR B.E./B.Tech degree. - Experience: 10+ years of experience in urban sanitation, solid waste management (SWM), or urban development for postgraduates, including at least 3+ years leading a team or Project Management Unit (PMU); OR 12+ years of experience for B.E./B.Tech degree holders. - Prior background in SBM-U projects and government advisory is preferred. ### Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details - Location: Tripura (Agartala and designated project locations across Tripura). - Deployment: Full-time deployment in Tripura required.
