Job description

• Role & Company / Project Overview Star Services is hiring a qualified Operator - Overhead Crane for steel industry operations in the UAE, operating within Rolling Mill Operations. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties - Operate heavy overhead bridge/gantry cranes safely to lift, shift, and position steel billets, hot materials, machinery, and equipment in the rolling mill. - Perform routine pre-shift and post-shift safety inspections on crane hoists, rigging accessories, brakes, and electrical limit switches. - Coordinate closely with ground crews, riggers, and rolling mill teams using standard hand signals and radio communications. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience - Minimum 3 years of related experience operating overhead cranes in the rolling mill or relevant department of a steel company (mandatory requirement). - Deep knowledge of industrial rigging, crane safety limits, and heavy lifting protocols. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details - Standard industrial shift schedules in the United Arab Emirates. • Application Instructions Send your CV via email or WhatsApp, indicating the position in the subject line.
