Job description

• Role & Company / Project Overview Star Services is seeking an Operator Furnace to oversee furnace operations within the HSM Operation - Production (Hot Strip Mill) department in the UAE. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties - Control and operate reheating furnaces, monitoring burner performance, zone temperatures, combustion atmospheres, and fuel flows. - Manage slab/billet charging and discharging cycles to achieve uniform heating and target rolling temperatures. - Monitor instrumentation, log operational parameters, and ensure thermal efficiency and safe furnace firing. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience - Minimum 3 years of experience in furnace operation within a steel plant or hot strip mill (mandatory requirement). - Proven competence in furnace combustion systems, temperature controls, and emergency protocols. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details - Full-time rotational shifts in the United Arab Emirates. • Application Instructions Email or WhatsApp your CV, indicating the role in the subject line.
