Role & Company / Project Overview: We are seeking experienced Software Engineers (Software Engineer II / III) for a contract opportunity in Wilmington, Delaware. This role requires local candidates who can commit to a hybrid schedule and an onsite interview. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Architect, implement, and support cloud-native applications and integrations using modern .NET and Azure. • Build resilient APIs and service integrations leveraging Azure App Services, Functions, API Management, and Service Bus. • Manage data access, design schemas, and develop queries for Azure SQL / SQL Server. • Develop modern, responsive user interfaces utilizing Angular and/or React. • Drive CI/CD automation, automated testing, and active production support. • Implement AI-enabled application development, prompt engineering, AI-assisted testing, code generation, and debugging utilizing GitHub Copilot, Azure AI Foundry, and OpenAI. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • 12+ years minimum contract experience. • Deep proficiency in C# and Modern .NET. • Strong Azure Cloud implementation experience, including Azure App Services, Functions, API Management, and Service Bus. • Proven experience with Azure SQL / SQL Server. • Solid UI development skills with Angular and/or React. • Extensive experience in APIs, integrations, and cloud-native application architectures. • Solid foundation in CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and production support. • Experience with AI-enabled application development, GitHub Copilot, Azure AI Foundry, OpenAI, and Prompt Engineering. • Practical exposure to AI-assisted testing, code generation, and debugging. • Active Microsoft Azure certification above the Fundamentals level. • Local candidates only, with willingness to attend an onsite interview. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience within Financial Services. • Proven background in cloud modernization projects. Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: • Location: Wilmington, Delaware. • Schedule/Arrangement: Hybrid model requiring 4 days onsite per week (mostly onsite).
