• Role & Company / Project Overview We are hiring a Principal Software Engineer (.NET / Azure) for a financial services client to support enterprise application architecture and delivery on a contract duration of 12+ months. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties - Take strong ownership of end-to-end enterprise application delivery. - Architect, design, and develop scalable RESTful APIs and modern backend solutions. - Implement software architecture patterns, robust testing strategies, and CI/CD pipelines. - Lead database optimization and enterprise cloud integrations. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience - 10+ years of professional software engineering experience. - Hands-on expertise in Modern .NET 8+ and C# 12. - Strong proficiency with Entity Framework / ORM and RESTful API development. - In-depth knowledge of advanced asynchronous & parallel programming. - Hands-on experience with Azure Functions and core Azure services including App Services, Key Vault, Storage, and Application Insights. - Strong SQL and database optimization skills. - Experience with Git and Azure DevOps Pipelines. - Proven expertise in software architecture patterns, automated testing, and CI/CD practices. - Nice to have: SignalR / real-time communication, Infrastructure as Code (Bicep / ARM), and Angular / TypeScript or other modern front-end frameworks. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details - Location: New York City, New York. - Work Model: Onsite. • Compensation & Benefits - Contract duration: 12+ months. • Application Instructions - Qualified and interested candidates should submit an updated resume.
