Role & Company / Project Overview: We are seeking an experienced Senior Developer to build a greenfield solution supporting Risk and P&L systems within the Fixed Income domain. The role involves working closely with quantitative and technology teams to design and deliver high-quality software on a cloud-based platform. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Own software delivery, ensuring quality and scope expectations are met. • Contribute to technical design and document system architecture. • Collaborate with quantitative teams and partner technology teams. • Develop and maintain scalable, high-quality applications. • Follow best practices for code management, testing, and CI/CD. • Contribute to service-oriented and microservices architectures. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • 8+ years of development experience with Python and .NET. • Strong knowledge of Python, .NET/.NET Core, and object-oriented programming principles. • Experience with multithreading and asynchronous programming. • Hands-on experience with Docker and containerization. • Experience designing and building API-based services and microservices. • Experience with Git, TeamCity, CI/CD pipelines, and software development life cycles. • Understanding of Agile development practices. • Preferred: Fixed Income product knowledge. • Preferred: Hands-on experience with AWS services. • Preferred: Experience working with Risk and P&L systems. Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: • Work Mode: Remote (aligned with NYC working hours). • Primary Location: NYC Midtown, New York, United States.
