Role & Company / Project Overview: We are hiring an experienced Senior C++ Linux Developer with strong expertise in developing high-performance, reliable software solutions on Linux platforms. The position involves working on high-performance applications, multithreading, debugging, embedded systems, CI/CD pipelines, and regulated product environments such as medical devices. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Develop, optimize, and maintain high-performance, reliable software solutions on Linux platforms • Implement multithreaded and concurrent application logic using modern object-oriented programming principles and design patterns • Debug complex issues using GDB and other debugging tools on Linux • Write and maintain shell scripts, Makefiles (GNU make), and CMake build systems • Collaborate using Git, Jenkins for CI/CD automation, JIRA, and Confluence • Adhere to regulatory and engineering standards for medical devices and healthcare software (such as FDA, IEC 62304, ISO 13485) Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Strong hands-on experience with modern C++ (C++11, C++14, C++17) • Proven expertise in Linux application development and debugging (GDB, Shell Scripting) • In-depth knowledge of multithreading, concurrency programming, OOP, and Design Patterns • Hands-on experience with build and CI/CD tools: CMake, GNU make, Git, Jenkins • Collaboration tool experience with JIRA and Confluence • Experience with Embedded or High-Reliability Systems is preferred • Medical device or healthcare domain experience (FDA, IEC 62304, ISO 13485) is a plus • Visa criteria: H1B candidates with valid I-94 travel history are eligible for C2C; all other visa candidates considered on W2 Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: • Location: Waukesha, Wisconsin (Onsite) • Job Type: Contract (C2C / W2) • Start Date: Immediate • Interview Process: Phone / Skype Compensation & Benefits: • Contract hourly rate based on experience Application Instructions: • Apply by submitting your resume for immediate consideration.
