### Role & Company / Project Overview Meril Life Sciences – Merai Newage is seeking an Embedded Firmware Engineer – Humanoid Robotics to build next-generation humanoid robots and develop advanced robotic technologies in Vapi, Gujarat. ### Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties • Develop and maintain embedded firmware for motor controllers using ARM-based microcontrollers • Implement and optimize FOC-based motor control for PMSM/BLDC motors • Develop peripheral drivers and APIs from scratch • Work with communication protocols such as CAN, RS485, SPI, I2C, UART, and Ethernet • Perform hardware bring-up, firmware debugging, testing, and validation • Collaborate with hardware, testing, and validation teams to resolve technical issues ### Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience • Experience: 4 to 7 years of relevant experience • Education: B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical or Electronics Engineering • Strong proficiency in Embedded C and C++ • Hands-on experience with ARM Cortex-M microcontrollers • In-depth knowledge of motor control, interrupts, and register-level programming • Experience with communication protocols and hardware debugging tools • Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics • Familiarity with Git and standard code review practices • Passion for embedded systems, motor control, and robotic systems ### Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details • Location: Vapi, Gujarat, India • Relocation requirement: Relocation to Vapi is mandatory ### Application Instructions Interested and qualified professionals excited to work on innovative robotic systems are invited to submit their resumes via email.
