Role & Company / Project Overview: We are hiring a passionate and self-driven Software Engineer – Robotics Application. The selected candidate will be responsible for engineering, programming, and commissioning robot controller software for automated electrostatic painting, sealing, and wiping systems using robotic automation. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Develop and commission robot controller software. • Support robotic automation applications. • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues. • Work directly with customers during installation and commissioning. • Ensure smooth operation of robotic painting, sealing, and wiping systems. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Educational Qualification: BE in Electrical & Electronics / Electronics & Communication / Mechatronics / Computer Science or related engineering disciplines, or Diploma in Electrical & Electronics / Electronics & Communication / Mechatronics Engineering. • Experience: 2 to 3 years. • Mandatory Technical Skills: C++ / Structured Text programming; basic knowledge of IDE tools; basic understanding of programming logic and languages; basic knowledge of Microsoft Office. • Hardware Knowledge: Rexroth / KEBA drives, I/O modules, basic pneumatics, and electrical drawings. • Troubleshooting: Ability to diagnose and resolve robot controller and software-related issues. • Communication Protocols: Sercos, PROFINET, Ethernet/IP, Modbus, and Profibus. • Robotics & Control Systems: Understanding of multi-axis robotic arms and their working principles; knowledge of factory automation and machinery (experience in automated painting systems is an added advantage). • Ideal Candidate Attributes: Self-motivated and willing to take ownership, strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, good communication and customer-handling abilities, and a professional attitude with the ability to work under pressure.
