Role & Company / Project Overview: Persistent Systems is hiring an experienced ServiceNow Lead Developer to lead the design and development of intake solutions, Service Catalog, Employee Center/Service Portal, Flow Designer automations, and request management workflows. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on development expertise, technical leadership skills, and experience mentoring developers while delivering scalable ServiceNow solutions. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Design and develop intake forms and request management solutions. • Build and maintain Service Catalog items, Record Producers, and request fulfillment workflows. • Develop and customize Employee Center, Service Portal, and user experiences. • Design and implement Flow Designer automations and Integration Hub integrations. • Configure approvals, notifications, SLAs, and orchestration activities. • Perform code reviews and enforce ServiceNow development standards. • Troubleshoot complex production issues and optimize platform performance. • Mentor developers and support Agile/Scrum delivery teams. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • 7–12 years of experience. • Strong ServiceNow development experience. • Service Catalog, Record Producers & Request Management. • Employee Center & Service Portal. • Flow Designer & Integration Hub. • Server-side and client-side scripting. • Script Includes & Business Rules. • Working knowledge of ITSM, CMDB & platform best practices. • Visa eligibility: H1B, H4 EAD & US Citizens (USC). • Preferred Certifications: CSA (Certified System Administrator), CAD (Certified Application Developer), CIS-ITSM, SPM. • Nice to Have: Scoped Applications, AI-powered workflows & Now Assist, Agile/Scrum delivery experience.
