Role & Company / Project Overview: Seeking an experienced ServiceNow Development Lead to lead development teams, define platform strategy, and deliver scalable enterprise ServiceNow solutions. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Lead, mentor, and guide ServiceNow developers, ensuring strict adherence to development best practices. • Define and execute ServiceNow development strategies aligned with overall business goals. • Design, develop, and deploy ServiceNow applications, workflows, service catalogs, and integrations. • Provide technical leadership across ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, SecOps, and custom application development. • Drive platform governance, coding standards, security controls, and architectural best practices. • Lead complex integrations using REST, SOAP, APIs, LDAP, and MID Server. • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions. • Implement automation and advanced workflows by leveraging emerging AI/ML capabilities. • Manage platform upgrades, system patching, performance optimization, and high availability/stability. • Ensure continuous compliance with ITIL processes, enterprise security policies, and organizational standards. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Experience: Minimum 9+ years of relevant industry experience in ServiceNow development and architecture. • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline. • Technical Skills: Strong expertise in JavaScript, Glide API, AngularJS, HTML, and CSS. • Module Expertise: Deep hands-on knowledge of at least two ServiceNow modules: ITSM, HRSD, IRM, or SecOps; good understanding of CMDB, ITOM, CSM, and custom applications. • Integration & Architecture: Strong background in ServiceNow enterprise architecture and end-to-end integration designs. • Methodologies: Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and Agile/Scrum frameworks. • Proven track record in large-scale ServiceNow implementations and technical team leadership. • Certifications: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) is mandatory; Certified Application Developer (CAD) is preferred; Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) is good to have. • Key Competencies: Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities, architectural thinking, problem-solving skills, stakeholder communication, and innovation drive.
