Job description

• Role & Company / Project Overview: We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Capacity Management Service Owner for a 6-month contract role to support infrastructure service ownership, capacity planning, performance monitoring, risk management, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, capacity forecasting, demand management, and stakeholder communication. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: - Manage infrastructure service performance, availability, reliability, utilization, and service-level targets. - Support cloud capacity planning, demand forecasting, and resource optimization. - Coordinate with engineering, architecture, operations, and business stakeholders. - Maintain service documentation, dashboards, KPIs, roadmaps, and performance reports. - Identify capacity constraints, assess risks, and recommend mitigation strategies. - Support incident follow-ups, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives. - Drive capacity governance, cost optimization, and infrastructure resilience. - Communicate service performance, risks, and improvement plans to stakeholders and leadership. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: - 3+ years of experience in IT Service Management, Infrastructure Operations, or Service Delivery. - Strong understanding of ITIL practices and service management principles. - Experience with infrastructure technologies, including servers, networks, storage, and cloud platforms. - Knowledge of cloud capacity management, demand forecasting, and capacity risk assessment. - Experience managing or supporting Azure and AWS capacity. - Understanding of application capacity, resilience, and cloud resource optimization. - Experience with data, APIs, capacity intelligence, governance, and controls. - Excellent analytical, communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills. - Preferred: ITIL Foundation certification. - Preferred: Exposure to Microsoft Azure, AWS, VMware, or Cisco. - Preferred: Experience in enterprise infrastructure, managed services, or shared-services environments. - Preferred: Familiarity with Agile and DevOps practices. - Preferred: Strong executive communication and reporting skills. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: - Location: Remote – USA. - Duration: 6 Months. - Engagement Type: Contract. • Application Instructions: - Interested candidates should submit their updated resume to the recruiter.
