Job description
• Role & Company / Project Overview: Seeking a seasoned Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer for a 12+ month contract engagement (open to C2C or W2) to design, automate, and manage secure, scalable enterprise cloud environments, primarily on AWS, with secondary Azure expertise. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: - Design, automate, and manage secure, scalable enterprise cloud environments on AWS. - Build and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation. - Manage containerized workloads using AWS ECS/EKS, Kubernetes, and Docker. - Develop and maintain scripts for automation and operations. - Implement and support CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and overall infrastructure automation. - Configure and troubleshoot cloud networking, VPNs, DNS, firewalls, and hybrid connectivity. - Oversee cloud security, disaster recovery, migration initiatives, and production troubleshooting. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: - 10+ years of overall IT experience with strong hands-on cloud engineering expertise. - Extensive experience designing and managing enterprise AWS infrastructure. - Strong knowledge of EC2, VPC, Route 53, ALB/NLB, S3, IAM, RDS, Lambda, and CloudWatch. - Hands-on experience with AWS ECS/EKS, Kubernetes, and Docker. - Expertise in Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation. - Strong scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, or Bash. - Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation. - Solid understanding of cloud networking, VPNs, DNS, firewalls, and hybrid connectivity. - Knowledge of Azure VMs, VNETs, Storage, IAM, and Backup. - In-depth background in cloud security, disaster recovery, migration, and production troubleshooting. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: - Location: Remote – USA (Eastern Time Zone only). - Engagement / Duration: 12+ Month Contract (C2C / W2). • Compensation & Benefits: - Contract hourly/rate basis (C2C / W2). • Application Instructions: - Submit an updated resume via email for consideration.
