Role & Company / Project Overview: We are seeking a highly hands-on Senior Cloud Engineer with extensive AWS and Azure experience for a full-time remote role in the United States. This position requires active, end-to-end involvement in cloud infrastructure engineering, automation, cloud security, Kubernetes container orchestration, hybrid networking, and GenAI infrastructure setup rather than passive architecture or high-level oversight. Work authorization is open to USC, GC, H1B, H4 EAD, and L2 EAD candidates. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Actively build, configure, manage, and maintain robust multi-cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure environments. • Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) and automation workflows across both cloud ecosystems. • Deploy, administer, and orchestrate containerized workloads utilizing Kubernetes (EKS and AKS) along with ECS. • Manage multi-cloud networking architectures including AWS VPC, Azure VNet, VPN configurations, and hybrid cloud connectivity. • Enforce security, identity, and governance protocols utilizing IAM, Cognito, and Entra ID (Azure AD), alongside API Gateway, CloudFront, Lambda, and WAF implementations. • Implement and support GenAI, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and agentic/multi-agent architectures, integrating AWS Bedrock, Azure OpenAI, Vector Databases, and Azure AI Search. • Oversee database management including S3 storage architectures and Azure SQL. • Design, automate, and streamline CI/CD delivery pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions. • Lead ongoing cloud security audits, compliance, monitoring, observability, and cost optimization initiatives. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Extensive hands-on experience in AWS and Azure Cloud Infrastructure administration and architecture. • Deep expertise in Infrastructure as Code tools: Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, AWS CDK, ARM templates, and Bicep. • Strong scripting and software automation proficiency in Python using Boto3 and Azure SDK. • Proven experience in container orchestration with Kubernetes (EKS and AKS) and ECS. • Demonstrated hands-on knowledge in GenAI architectures: RAG, Agentic/Multi-Agent setups, Vector Databases, AWS Bedrock, and Azure OpenAI. • Solid background in network engineering, API Gateway, AWS Lambda, CloudFront, WAF, VPN, and hybrid networking. • Strong command of identity and security frameworks including IAM, Cognito, and Entra ID. • Working experience with S3, Azure SQL, and AI Search. • Hands-on proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions. • Solid track record in cloud security, compliance, monitoring, and infrastructure cost optimization. • Preferred: Java programming experience.
