Job description
• Role & Company / Project Overview We are looking for an experienced SDET (API Automation) professional with strong hands-on expertise in test automation across API, web, and mobile applications to join our team in Toronto, ON under a full-time, hybrid (4 days/week) work model. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties - Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks and test scripts. - Automate API testing using Java and Rest Assured. - Perform web automation using Selenium WebDriver and mobile automation using Appium. - Execute functional, regression, integration, smoke, and end-to-end testing. - Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing. - Collaborate with development, QA, and business teams to ensure high-quality releases. - Analyze test results, troubleshoot failures, and manage defects through resolution. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience - Strong Java programming skills for test automation. - Rest Assured for API automation. - Selenium WebDriver for web testing. - Appium for Android and iOS mobile automation. - TestNG / JUnit / Cucumber / BDD. - Git, Maven / Gradle. - Jenkins / Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions. - Basic SQL and database validation. - Preferred: Experience in banking, financial services, or enterprise applications. - Preferred: Exposure to cloud-based testing and containerized environments. - Preferred: Knowledge of performance, accessibility, or security testing. - Preferred: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. - Preferred: Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details - Location: Toronto, ON, Canada. - Work Model: Hybrid – 4 Days/Week onsite. - Employment Type: Full-Time. • Application Instructions - Interested candidates should apply by sending an updated resume.
